Research - an Overview of LSC DiPH Infrastructures, Research Clusters and Integrative Themes
Our work in phase 2 focuses on the implementation, application, and extension of findings from phase 1 to real-world public health issues, as well as the development of a self-sufficient funding structure beyond the timeframe of the current application. As digitalization continues to be a core issue in the modernization and adaptation of public health and health systems, there is a need for high-quality interdisciplinary research to proactively shape this development rather than merely following technological advances. Key issues include improving accessibility and equity of digital public health, developing and applying appropriate methods to produce high-quality evidence to support public health decision-making, and systematically outlining and determining needs and opportunities for digital technology in public health. LSC DiPH is situated at the center of these issues.
